This unique blend of spices has been carefully selected and measured for your mulling pleasure. In addition to using wine and apple juice, experiment with tea, ciders and other fruit juices. When mulling wine, an inexpensive red is appropriate. As well as serving these mulled liquids as a hot relaxing beverage, they can also be served chilled. Either way … they are delicious!!
Don’t discard the used spices. Double you pleasure by using them as a stovetop potpourri simmering scent to freshen your household.
Helpful Hints!
Always simmer the spices in the liquid for at least 20 minutes. Never boil unless the liquid is water.
Take the spices out when you arrive at the flavour you like. It’s easier, but not necessary if the spices are in cheesecloth.
You can use the spices twice …
Air dry between mullings. Store in a cool, dry place and keep separate from original package.
